Smarter not Stronger

Use your mind and words before resorting to violence.
Don’t look for violent answers when a peaceful outcome exists.

Patience over violence

Be patient with yourself and others. Show compassion at all times.

Protect your temple

Your body, mind, and spirit are your temple. Do what you must to care for it and protect it when needed.

Always be prepared

Always be prepared to persevere, push yourself, and help others.

Respect over winning

Always remain respectful towards others no matter the context, act honourably, and never forget humility or your humanity.

Dignity over status

Remain steadfast in character, show etiquette, and practise strict discipline in life as you do in Karate.

Never ever quit

Practise courage and bravery in the face of fear and uncertainty.
